Marc Aaron Melzer is a member of the Class of 2002 at Princeton University. He is studying Internet-related policy in the undergraduate program of the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. He recently completed "Online Democracy", a course including an ICANN board and constitution-writing simulation. During the academic year, Marc works as a student consultant at the Academic Technology Services PLACE. During the summer of 1999, he worked as a Policy Studies intern at the United Nations Association of the United States, focusing on "Global Policy Project 1999: Worker Rights in the Global Economy". He also did web design work for the IT department at Guy Carpenter & Company. While at Princeton, Marc is involved with several extracurricular organizations. He is the 2000 Student Executive Board President of the Center for Jewish Life/Princeton Hillel. Marc also sings with Koleinu, Princeton's Jewish A Cappella group. As a member of the Whig-Cliosophic Society, he has participated in several Model United Nations conferences with the Princeton International Relations Council. He also maintains several student group websites. Marc is a native of Fair Lawn, NJ and a graduate of Fair Lawn High School. He enjoys reading, backgammon, interesting discussions, and playing pool.
