Joshua Ruihley works out of his Lexington, Kentucky home as the Senior Technology Strategist for the Center for Democracy & Technology. A Web development professional for over a decade, Josh’s expertise is in helping non-profits and citizen journalists use new communications technologies to participate in the democratic process. His most recent projects include CDT's OpenCRS, New Media Mill's New Media Manager and Open Hearings -- a Web tool he developed to increase public access to congressional committee hearings. Josh earned his Bachelors of Science in Telecommunications from the University of Kentucky, where he focused his studies on telecommunications public policy and computer science.
