Jason, a law student at the Washington College of Law of American University, joined CDT as a law clerk in the beginning of 1999. For CDT, Jason is creating an information database of the telecommunications and Internet infrastructures within several Central and Eastern European nations. Additionally, Jason is researching the application of human rights law to electronic communications. Prior to joining CDT, Jason spent a semester in Hong Kong studying Chinese law at the City University of Hong Kong and working as a legal analyst for the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data of Hong Kong. Jason has also worked for the Department of Commerce's National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) in the Office of International Affairs as well as at the American Civil Liberties Union where he worked with lobbyists and attorneys in contesting the Communications Decency Act. Prior to attending the Washington College of Law, Jason received his BA in Political Science at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a native New Yorker. |
