David Rice, a summer 2000 law clerk at CDT, is a member of the Yale Law School class of 2002. He has a BA in English and Philosophy from the University of Southern California and a PhD in English from the University of California, Irvine, where his dissertation dealt with the ethical and phenomenological consequences of media technologies. He admires ceramic architecture, urban exploration, and Emmanuel Levinas. He is interested in issues of online speech and privacy, transparency/public access to information, corporate influence on media, and the "digital divide." |
