CDT makes it easier for you to become involved in shaping Internet policy through our Activist Network.
First, by signing up here, you will Adopt Your Legislator. With your Zip Code, we can alert you when your own Senators and Member of Congress are about to vote on public policy issues affecting civil liberties online.
Second, we will send you our Policy Posts — regular e-mail news publications (roughly 2-4 per month), designed to deliver up-to-date information in a simple format, with links to more in-depth analysis.
Third, CDT will send you periodic Action Alerts (usually no more than one per month). These Alerts provide background on a developing issue and urge you to contact regulatory agencies like the Federal Communications Commission, Executive Branch agencies like the Commerce Department, or the Congress, to make your views known.
