FISA and NSA Warrantless Snooping

In 2005, it was revealed that the National Security Agency had been intercepting telephone and email information without court approval.  Since then, Congress has actually expanded the NSA’s wiretapping authority.  CDT advocates for privacy safeguards, especially for judicial controls when the rights of Americans are at stake.
