Groups Urge Court to Protect Web Site Operator - CDT joined the Electronic Frontier Foundation and the ACLU of Pennsylvania in urging a Pennsylvania court to protect the right of a Web site operator to host user-generated material. The groups filed a friend-of-the-court brief in support of DontDateHimGirl.com, a social networking site that allows women to post about their experiences with men. CDT takes no position on the content of those posts, but believes that the hosts of online forums should not be held liable for what posters on those forums write. December 22, 2006
