Coalition Seeks Rehearing on Wiretap Mandates for VOIP, Broadband Internet - Civil liberties groups, educational networks and others concerned about the future of the Internet, led by CDT, have asked a federal appeals court to reconsider its ruling upholding the FCC's August 2005 decision to extend wiretap design mandates to the Internet.
