CDT Proposes Balanced Framework for Online Copyright Protection - CDT today released a paper outlining a general framework for addressing the problem of copyright infringement on the Internet in a balanced fashion. With the upcoming Supreme Court decision in MGM v. Grokster likely to renew polarized debate about online copyright protection, CDT's paper proposes a path forward that would protect copyright holders while supporting innovation, the open architecture of the Internet, and the interests of consumers.
