U.S. Government Encourages Serbians to Use the Internet - The Clinton Administration announced that the U.S. embargo on Serbia is not meant to cover satellite or any other communications technologies that provide Internet access to Serbia. U.S. State Department spokesman Jamie Rubin made clear in his press briefing today that the U.S. will not only refrain from embargoing Internet communications services, but actively encourages Serbians to use the Internet to look beyond the propaganda of the Milosovic government.
