Last Week To Support Potential ICANN Candidates - As the election for board members of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) draws nearer, the process to nominate candidates has entered its final stages. Until Friday, September 8, registered members of ICANN can endorse additions to the ballot beyond the candidates already put forward by ICANN's Nominations Committee. The election itself will begin on October 1, and the five regional winners will be seated on the ICANN Board in mid-November. September 01, 2000
