ICANN Announces Election Winners - On October 10, after ten days of voting, winners were announced in the online global election for the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN). Five candidates were victorious, and will join the ICANN Board of Directors in mid-November: Karl Auerbach (North America), Ivan Moura Campos (Latin America), Masanobu Katoh (Asia/Australia/Pacific), Andy Mueller-Maguhn (Europe), and Nii Quaynor (Africa).
