CDT Offers Guidance to ICANN on Studying Public Input - In a letter to Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) Chairman Esther Dyson, CDT joined several public interest and research organizations in advocating that an upcoming study of public representation in ICANN be conducted with the utmost care. In particular, the letter emphasized the need for independence, broad representativeness, openness, and adequate resources for the study. The letter also argued that the study should take a comprehensive look at the ICANN's governing structures, not just those of the "At-Large" community of Internet users. November 10, 2000
