CDT and Partners Submit Comments on ICANN Study - CDT, Common Cause, and Oxford University's Programme in Comparative Media Law and Policy (PCMLP) posted their comments on the upcoming study of public representation in the Internet's main domain-names organization. The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) held an election for At-Large Directors in October, and will shortly begin a study to assess that election and to determine the value of public representation on its Board. CDT and its partners feel that adequate public input is critical if ICANN is ever to find legitimacy. December 22, 2000
