ICANN Proposes New Bylaws, But Fails to Solve Serious Accountability, Openness Questions - In late October ICANN (the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) will be evaluating proposed new bylaws that seek to address serious problems with the organization. However, the proposed bylaws lack numerous key features ICANN requires to fulfill its obligations towards accountability and good governance, and are unlikely to help ICANN improve its effectiveness or its credibility.
