CDT Comments on Peer-to-Peer Challenges in FTC Proceeding - CDT filed comments yesterday for the Federal Trade Commission's upcoming inquiry into the policy issues surrounding popular peer-to-peer file-sharing networks. CDT's comments outlined the challenge in preserving valuable Internet services made possible by peer-to-peer technologies while addressing the serious privacy, spyware, and copyright infringement problems raised by some file-sharing networks.
