CDT Urges Opposition to Copyright "Inducement" Bill - CDT today urged the Senate Judiciary Committee not to pass S.2560, the "Inducing Infringements of Copyright Act." The bill, while originally intended to combat infringement on popular file-sharing networks, would threaten a range of valuable consumer technologies. Separately, the House passed H.R. 4077, a package of new copyright enforcement provisions. September 28, 2004
