Markle Task Force Report on Health Records Addresses Privacy - "Connecting for Health," a public-private collaborative organized by the Markle Foundation, issued a report July 14 recommending steps to accelerate the adoption of information technology to facilitate the secure sharing of health records. CDT contributed to the section of the report discussing privacy as a cornerstone of building patient trust in electronic exchange of health records. On Wednesday, July 21, the Bush Administration will issue the first installment of its national health information technology plan. July 19, 2004
