Public Session on Privacy in Government Systems - CDT and the Council for Excellence in Government hosted a public event on important new federal government privacy rules that are expected to be issued in May as part of the Bush Administration's E-Government Act implementation. The new Chief Privacy Officer for the Department of Homeland Security and representatives from the Office of Management and Budget previewed the rules at this public event. April 23, 2003
