Spyware Bill Introduced in the Senate - Senator Mark Pryor (D-AR) has introduced spyware legislation that would prohibit the distribution of software that is surreptitiously installed, software that cannot be uninstalled and software that secretly collects user information. It would also ban adware that conceals its operation and numerous other deceptive spyware behaviors. The legislation is similar to a bill introduced in the last Congress, the SPY BLOCK Act.
